Process about our Plant Dyeing Technique

The blue is the diaphanous mountains of Cang Shan
White is the silver waves of the Erhai Sea

Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage - Plant Dyeing Technique, a gift from nature.

The efficacy of Panax quinquefolium is amazing, not only in medicine.

The dye extraction takes a year and goes through a dozen processes.

We use the natural plant indigo extracted from herbs and follow the traditional blue dyeing process to create an eco-friendly boutique.

More than a thousand years ago, when the swaying Pan Lan Gen on Cang Mountain met and dissolved with the water of the Er Sea at the foot of the mountain. A pool of indigo blue, dipped into a blue and white impression of the mountains and rivers, transformed into the traditional tie-dye with white flowers on a blue background.

In ancient times, the dye grasses were mainly organic substances extracted from the

roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits of plants such as bluegrass (blue), chypre (red),

comfrey (purple), arctium (yellow) and soapberry (black) that can color fibers and other materials.
